Having escaped the depths of the Karoo desert in South Africa, Matt decided that his life’s mission was to change the perception of South Africans in the UK – proving there are some friendly ones too. Over the years, he’s worked in many customer-focussed roles in hospitality, aquaculture and publishing, and it was through these experiences that he realised people are pretty awesome. Ultimately, Matt landed in marketing, where he works to connect businesses with customers – doing just that for amazing brands like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, ON24, FT and DHL. He is also prone to trying his luck at elite sporting challenges with little training. The results so far have been… mixed.
